Your dogs are your family, and we know that while you’re away from home you want to ensure your family is in good hands. Mel’s Waggin’ Tail Inn’s all inclusive dog boarding was specially designed with your dog’s comfort in mind, our climate-controlled dog-inn facility is staffed by knowledgeable and dedicated Pet Care Specialist.

All inclusive dog boarding means they play all day everyday at no extra costs. Quality time is included, splash time is included, and romp time is included.

Whether you’re away for a short weekend or an extended holiday, your pet will benefit from our large, clean, bright comfortable rooms suitable for any sized dog and breed.

Our Pet Care Specialists are dedicated to make sure your pet's stay is as comfortable and as stress free as possible. They will give them the one on one attention they deserve along with the exercise and socialization they need.

Boarding Fees

  • 1 Night** $54.00 (+tx)
  • Add. Dog* $32.25 ea.(+tx)
  • 2-3 Nights $52.75 (+tx)
  • Add. Dog* $29.00 ea.(+tx)
  • 4+ Nights $43.50 (+tx)
  • Add. Dog* $24.00 ea.(+tx)

Please note, a minimum of 2 nights stay is required during weekends & peak times (e.g. Long weekends, March Break, Christmas break, Summer months, etc.).

At our dog daycare, every pup deserves more than just a place to stay, they deserve Tailored Stay & Playful Days. That’s why we’ve created The Pupgrade Menu, a joyful collection of add-ons designed to pamper, entertain, and enrich your dog’s experience.

Whether it’s a birthday bash, teatime treats, nature walks, or brainy fun with IQ puzzles, we’ve got something for every personality. As the day winds down, your furry friend can enjoy bedtime snuggles or soothing bedtime tales. And before heading home, they can indulge in an Exit Bath and Pawdicure, because every good day should end with a little extra sparkle.

Late Check Out

A Late Check Out Fee applies after 9:30 am on weekdays and after 11 am on holidays:

  • $18 (+tx) per Dog
  • $11 (+tx) per Additional Dog*

Boarding Reservation / Cancellation Policy

During Non-Holidays & Non-Peak Seasons

  • A 2-night minimum stay is required on weekends to better accommodate all our furry guests.
  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the boarding check-in date will receive a full refund of your deposit.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before your boarding check-in date or “no-show”, you agree to forfeit their full deposit.
  • Any cancellation/early departure request done outside business hours will be considered as being received the next day.

During Holidays & Peak Season

  • A 2-night minimum stay is required during holidays & peak season times to better accommodate all our furry guests.
  • A full deposit refund will only be available if the reservation is cancelled more than 5 days before the scheduled date of arrival.
  • Cancellation less than the 5 business days before the scheduled date of arrival, including "no-shows", agree to forfeit their full deposit.
  • Any cancellation/early departure request done outside business hours will be considered as being received the next day.

Holiday & Peak Season Times

  • Family Day weekend
  • March Break week
  • Easter weekend
  • Victoria Day weekend
  • Summer Season (June 1 – September 8)
  • Labour Day weekend
  • Thanksgiving weekend
  • Remembrance Day
  • Holiday Season (December 1 – January 3)

At any time during the year, early boarding departures agree to pay the applicable nightly rate based on the actual number of nights stayed, including the late check-out fee (if applicable) plus 50% of the cost for the nights not stayed if notice is given 48 hours prior to the NEW scheduled pickup date. Failure to give us 48 hours' notice prior to arranging an early boarding departure, will require full payment of the original reservation.

As Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, there will be no waiver for that reason under this reservation/cancellation policy.
