Non-Holiday & Non-Peak Season Boarding Reservation/Cancellation Policy

Our boarding facility is often full and as a result, we sometimes must turn potential guests away. No shows or last-minute cancellations take away spots needed by other guests requesting accommodations. To serve our clients better, we have a reservation and deposit policy.

Non-holiday time and non-peak season is defined as any period that is excluded from our Holidays & Peak season policy. Please refer to that section for time periods.

  • A 2-night minimum stay is required on weekends to better accommodate all our furry guests.
  • A deposit of 50% of your entire reservation amount is required when the booking is confirmed. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation, the booking will be cancelled.
  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before your boarding check-in date will receive a full refund of your deposit.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before your boarding check-in date or “no-show”, agree to forfeit their full deposit.
  • Any cancellation/early departure request done outside business hours will be considered as being received the next day. This can lead to the loss of deposit if it doesn’t comply with our required 48 hours notice for cancellations during non-holiday & non- peak times.
  • Early boarding departures agree to pay the applicable nightly rate based on the actual number of nights stayed, including the late check-out fee (if applicable) plus 50% of the cost for the nights not stayed if notice is given 48 hours prior to the NEW scheduled pickup date. Failure to give us 48 hours' notice prior to arranging an early boarding departure, will require full payment of the original reservation.
  • New boarding clients are required to book a trial day prior to boarding. It consists of a full daycare day (fee applies). For returning clients, if you haven't used our services for over 6 months, you may be subject to another trial daycare day (fee applies) prior to being able to book boarding.
  • As Covid-19 restrictions have lifted, there will be no waiver for that reason under this reservation/cancellation policy.
  • Deposits cannot be used as credit toward other services.
  • Payment for the balance of the full boarding stay will be due at drop-off.
  • All pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.

Holidays & Peak Season Reservation/Cancellation Policy

Holiday & Peak Season Times:

  • Family Day weekend
  • March Break week
  • Easter weekend
  • Victoria Day weekend
  • Summer Season (June 1 – September 8)
  • Labour Day weekend
  • Thanksgiving weekend
  • Remembrance Day
  • Holiday Season (December 1 – January 3)

  • Holiday & Peak season time reservations require a 50% deposit of the total invoice when the boarding booking is confirmed. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation, the booking will be cancelled.
  • Full deposit refunds will only be available if the reservation is cancelled more than 5 days before the scheduled date of arrival. 5-day notice is required to be eligible for a deposit refund.
  • Cancellation less than the 5 business days before the scheduled date of arrival, including "no-shows", agree to forfeit their full deposit.
